BSSM Knighting Ceremony

Yesterday, I was commissioned by the Fathers of Bethel Church, Bill Johnson, Kris Vallotton and Dann Farrelly. Each year they do this 'knighting ceremony' as a sign of being commissioned, sent out with a blessing, and honoured for finishing first year of Bethel School of Supernatural Ministry.

Having hands laid on, and commissioning is a biblical principle from both the old and new covenant as a sign of Gods anointing resting on someone and being sent out to do Gods will and work. There also comes an impartation of grace and spiritual gifts as this happens (Numbers 8:10, Numbers 27:23, Acts 6:6, 2 Timothy 1:6, Acts 13:3, 1 Timothy 4:14, Deuteronomy 34:9).

You can see the video here as around 600 students were knighted! My revival group starts at 1 hour and 30 minutes in, and I am knighted at 1 hour and 34 minutes in.

After this we went through a fire tunnel (prayer tunnel), where the revival group pastors and their third years laid hands on us and prayed for us to also commission us. The presence of God was so strong. I could feel the weight of Gods glory as I lined up, whilst I was knighted, and whilst walking through the tunnel. It was hard to stand or walk at times because the glory was so thick. Throughout, I was crying because the holiness and presence of God felt so near.

It is an honour to be sent with the blessings of these men and women of God. Bill, Kris and Dann have given their lives for decades to this church, and in the last 15 years have trained and sent out over 10,000 students into all the world.

"And these they brought before the apostles; and after praying, they laid their hands on them." - Acts 6:6

Lesley Crandall and Dean Ras have faithfully overseen the first year environment for many years, and I have been blessed to have Dean as my revival group pastor for this year. Lexi, Aubrey, Nicole, Joel and Rob have been my incredible third year leaders this year.

I am so thankful for these fierce leaders who desire above all for Jesus to be glorified, to lead the students into love encounters with Father God to know their identity, to know intimacy with Jesus and to live a Spirit filled life full of fire and passion for Jesus and revival, loving Jesus and loving every person around them.

I have been transformed this year. Words cannot begin to express how thankful I am to God for all He has done in my life this last nine months. I feel the tangible presence of Jesus closer than I ever have, I hear the Lord with greater accuracy than I ever have, I am the most consistently joy and peace filled than I ever have been. I know the Lord as my provider, protector and Father more than I ever have. My mind has been renewed in so many ways.

The Lord has ministered to me so much in incredible encounters, some of which I hope to share going forward. There has been crazy moments of teaching where the glory of God has fallen, beautiful high praise worship, amazing times in kids church and in dance classes and SO much more! There is much, much, more God has done this year, but much of it is hard to put into words. What I do know is that, the fruit of it will be seen into eternity.

Thank you to all those who have prayed for me and financially sown into making this year possible. I am beyond thankful, and cannot begin to express with words this gratitude in my heart for you all. Yesterday, during worship before receiving prayer and commissioning I was thanking God for each of you, and I truly believe you will also receive much spiritually from your time and finances that you have sown in.

On Monday we have more impartation where more leaders from the Bethel environment will pray for us, and on Tuesday I officially walk the stage and graduate!

God has spoken to much to me about my future this last nine months, and I am SO excited for what is to come! I truly know that the best is yet to come!
